- Site visual redesign is vastly simplified. Changes are easier to implement over a full site.
- Standards-compliant documents are compatible with all browsers.
- Browser detection and page redirection to serve customized pages, scripts and styles is no longer needed. This eliminates a tremendous duplication of effort previously used to provide optimal user experience for each of the major browser camps.
- Standards-compliant documents are more accessible. Text-only pages and printer-friendly pages and other alternative web devices are no longer required to meet accessibility guidelines. This again eliminates a tremendous duplication of effort.
